A relaxation room for students and teachers alike, the Rec Room is perfect for a little down time. A widescreen TV dominates the back wall, hooked up to various consoles. There are cushy seats all over the room, and bookshelves lining the corners. There is also a pool table in the center for the more competitive people.

Do you get cravings for certain foods? Are you feeling peckish during the night? Then this room is for you. Staff and students can come down here to cook, or raid cupboards.

A long mahogany table stands in the centre while a line of chairs can be seen all around it. It's not often completely full up, but people can usually be found eating here at different times.

Each of the classrooms is different, depending on the mentor's teaching methods. They are located in the main body of the school. Though there are not as many students here as there used to be, they are still encouraged to attend lessons.

The library is huge, and holds more than a thousand books on various subjects. There are quiet study areas here and there, as well as tables and chairs. There is also a computer area, where students are free to browse the internet and do their work.

The boys dorms are on the West Wing, and the girls dorms are on the East Wing. Staff rooms are on the next level.

The lower floors of the mansion lie below ground level and are accessible via a lift. It is where the X-Men store their high-tech equipment and secrets. Students are expressly forbidden to come down here without a teachers consent.

The largest strip of pure green anywhere in New York. Central Park is six miles of grass and sunshine. The zoo is located here, as well as several lakes and ponds. It's a great place for a picnic on a sunny day.

The general hospital is the only place to get proper medical treatment in the city. They also offer counselling services to those who need them. Mutants should be cautious when asking for help; some doctors will not treat them.

Once, in the city, there was another group of mutants known as the Morlocks. Often disfigured so badly by their mutations that they could not come to the surface, they navigated the city through a complex web of underground tunnels. Though the Morlocks are now gone, the tunnels remain intact, though mostly abandoned.

A part of one of the city's smaller quarters, Mutant Town used to be almost exclusively home to mutants living in New York. Since M-Day, there are fewer people there. It is still one of the least discriminatory neighbourhoods in the city when it comes to mutants.

The fastest way to get around the colossus that is New York. A maze of tunnels beneath the ground, and lots of people stuffed into trains to get to and from work. The stations are a popular hang out for beggars and thieves, thanks to the crowds they can get lost in.
