The olympic-sized swimming pool is open to students all year round except for snowy days. It is a particularly popular hang out in the summer months, whether people are messing around in the water or just chilling on the side.

The forest surrounding the school is a good place for a walk or some private time. There are stables owned by the X-Men, and there are some well-trodden trails that students often explore on horseback. There is also a lake in the centre, and it is not uncommon for people to go boating on warm days.

Near the woods is the cemetary, the place where all dead students and staff are buried. The Jean Grey Memorial stands like a guardian in the center - the Phoenix watching on, even from beyond the grave.

No New Posts Basketball Court

A friendly game of ball is a favourite pasttime of students and staff alike, and the basketball court is almost always occupied during the daylight hours. The court itself can retract back into the rest of the ground if the Blackbird needs to launch - the Hangar is directly beneath it.

A wide expanse of ground used for the sole purpose of honing one's fighting skills. Many teachers prefer to use the outside than the Danger Room, particularly on warm days.
