Trapping The Dragon.(X men/New X men)

[Jason Stormbringer]

It was just a standard pick up a mutant who had wanted to join the school normally a few of the younger team members would have been sent for the pick up. However Jason had felt something was off about it and had decided to go alone just to be on the safe side. He figured that it was better for the old man to be at risk then the young kids so he put on his X man uniform which consisted of the a set of Jet black armor that he had worn as a member of the four Emperors and his normal black Duster jacket his armor carried the same belt that the other X men did so the buckle bore the X. Marking him as a team member the mission had gone well he had take a car and driven to the pick up location with out incident.

He used standard tactics to reach his destination with out drawing attention to him self as he reached the building he received his first sign that something was wrong. As he noticed the area around the building was deserted with the exception of a few people who seemed to be on the look out for something. Jason entered the building keeping his eyes open for anything that might be out of place besides the deserted building and lookouts. As he made his way down the hallway he noticed some off the wall carried standard anti Mutant graffiti such as 'Freaks begone' and 'The only good Mutant is a dead one'. He couldn't help but sigh if their was a young mutant here surrounded by those that might hurt her then it was probably a good thing she had contacted the X men. On the other hand this could also be a trap using the graffiti to feed the image of a hate filled environment.

The feeling of dread crept up on Jason as he reached the room apartment that the Mutant said they were living in. It wasn't odd to meet a mutant in their home as it was a safe place for the people they were recruiting and helped them feel at ease. Jason reached the door and noticed that it wasn't closed and looked like it had been kicked open he but his back to the wall beside the door so he could glance in and avoid any counters from inside.He couldn't help but think 'Damn I should have brought Beast or Logan then I would have their enhanced sense's Hell I could have asked 23 she wasn't doing anything and she likes to hit things'. Jason sighed and leaned towards the door.

He knocked and as he opened it and spoke"Hello anyone here I'm not here to hurt you?" Jason made his way around the entrance hall their were signs of a struggle but lacked any form and DNA evidence which would go along with it such as Blood hair hell even a muddy foot print Jason didn't like this.

He made his way through the apartment slowly and crept towards what looked like a bed room and still couldn't shake the feeling of impending doom.He opened the door to the bedroom expecting to find anything that might led him to what had happened He had grabbed his Phone from his pocket and had just dialed the Mansion. The computer would automatically route the call to the first team member available. as the Phone First rang Jason heard the tell tale sounds off beeping he turned in time to see the alarm clock on the beside table counting backwards and was currently at 5. His eye's widened as someone answered the Phone and Jason decided at the Time to voice his opinion of the Clock timer. "OH YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME WHO USES AN ALARM CLOCK AS A TIMER THAT JUST LAZY!!!

As Jason yelled this he hurled him self out the window but not quick enough to dodge the explosion which rocked the building he was caught be some of the shock wave and fell for stories as he fell he focused all of his energy into his body to bolster his physical conditioning so he could walk away from the fall.He landed on a car that was parked out front of the building and the roof of the car sunk in with the impact of the man. Jason groaned and rolled of the roof of the car as he got off of it he fell backwards against the car so that he was sitting against the car and spit out some blood he also felt the warm trickle of it down the right side of his face he guessed from glass shards. His right hand found it's way to his side and as he touched it he winced and pulled his hand away. He glanced at his hand and saw it and his side were both soaked in his own blood. "Oh that's blood that's my blood that's not good.

Even over the ringing in his ears from the bomb he could hear weapons being readied he looked up and down both sides of the street he could see both soldiers and a few sentinels getting ready to move in and subdue him. Jason slowly got to his feet and staggered he glanced at what was left of his phone which he had crushed in the fall and sighed. "Well this is not going to end well for me." Jason staggered to his feet as the sentinel gave it's warning."Mutant target locked. Threat level unknown orders are to Capture! He laughed through the ache of his battered body as the lead Sentinel took a step froward and the soldier's got ready and the one who looked in charge yelled through a megaphone.

"Mutant Stand down immediately you are under arrest by the order of the United states military do not resist and you will not be harmed!!! Jason couldn't help but laugh at the order and slowly readied himself for a fight he smiled and spoke. "Sorry boys It's just not in this Old Dragon to go down with out a fight so if you want me.COME AND GET ME!. The Last of Jason's statement was almost a roar as he got up he raised his hand and fired the blinding beam of light at the first sentinel as it hit the mutant slaying metal abomination a net like pattern spread across it's body and it fell into over a thousand cube likes shapes but before any could hit the ground they exploded.

The other two sentinel raised their hands and both fired a deadly beam of energy at him he raised his hand and focused and transferred his energy to his hand and released it. Both beams collided and Jason's were able to disrupt the sentinel's beam and destroy both the arms they had used to fire. But due to his weakened state he dropped to his knee quickly bringing one of his hands to stop him from eating pavement. He needed to try and catch his breath to gather his second wind and what little strength he could to try and at least get into the fight.'If I lose this Kitty and Logan will never let me live it down'.

Jason figured all he could really due is hope someone got his call and could send back up other wise he was probably gonna go to a Guantanamo bay for mutants but less fun. He allowed his energy to wrap around his body in the form of a white flame and some of the smaller rocks on the ground began to rise around him as he tried to gather his strength to make them regret waking the dragon.

During all of this Jason had failed to notice the two sentinel's which had maneged to land behind him the lead one raised it's hand and fire a beam with enough force to knock the Dragon out. Jason felt the blast strike him his eyes widened as he fell forwards towards the ground the last of the strength in his weakened state and he passed out with one final thought. 'Damn it' and with that final thought Jason passed out the soldier's moved quickly and secured him in the back of a truck to move him to a secure area for Interrogation. So they could learn what they needed about his fellow x-men Jason could only hope they were dumb and killed him before they could get anything out of him or they waited long enough for him to regain his strength so he could make them regret their little ambush.

Jason had just enough strength to activate the tracker on his belt so that his back up could track him to were ever the hell they were taking him. The soldiers moved fast as they couldn't risk the mutant waking up or any reinforcements arriving to help him as they had only had the five sentinel and had already lost three of them to the mutant who was currently in the back. It didn't take them long to arrive at the area they had chosen to use as a holding cell it was an old military base and had recently been upgraded to house mutants and defend against their attacks they had chose this location just for this purpose as they could get the Intel they needed and maybe even capture a few others if they tried to mount any sort of rescue mission.

The base was built like a fortress with all of the modern mutant detecting equipment their was the base also had a garrison of around a dozen sentinels. The troops were part of an anti Mutant division and were trained to deal with them. These base boasted a small garrison of around two hundred soldiers and also had a small RnD department for building new anti Mutant weapons. Once they arrived they quickly slapped a specially designed collar on Jason which was able to suppress his X gene and dragged him to one of the cells after a quick filed dressing on his wound the tossed him in the cell and left waiting for him to wake up so they could begin.

(OOC Oh nooz what will happen who will Save Jason if anyone find out on the next episode of Dragon ball z *Coughs* I mean who ever Joins starts at the X manor after Jason had been tossed in the cell and no they didn't find The tracking chip. These guys work for Purity and are following William Strykers game plan So watch out because their gonna be Nasty)

[Pietro Maximoff]

Ooc: Dumping Quicksilver into this one. I think it'd be best that he notices that Jason is gone and is looking for someone to tell them about him being gone. Although he doesn't know that he had been getting another mutant for the team. >n>

Bic: “Jason! Jason!” A voice called out as a familiar green blur rushed back and forth in between the rooms. Pietro had noticed that most of the mutants had been here but someone had been missing. He was checking each room carefully at his top speed. However as he entered one room, he heard someone scream in surprise, not expecting his presence and they were obvious that he startled them. “Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you, I’m looking for someone.” He said and fled before he would cause more trouble.

He went down to the further floors doing the exact same thing, searching each room one by one and not finding any sign of the other mutant. He felt his muscles aching and wanting to stop. So he found himself resting at the stairs, breathing heavily, and being that he hadn’t done a run like that through the mansion. To him it was like a race for most speedsters. He had in fact been challenged by Speed in the past to race and he accepted it. It was pretty close for most of the time and Pietro had thought he was going to lose seeing that Tommy went at supersonic speeds. He barely made it to the speed of sound. None the less he was still impressive. Also the scream that the girl had let out had been forgotten; he apologized for it as well.

“I still couldn’t find Jason, I want to find him but…I’m exhausted after checking the…first two floors. The basement though…I doubt anyone would let me check out there…And I have the grounds to search too…” Pietro said with a sigh as he pressed his head against the railing. As he thought about it at this point he could ask someone else, and he was sure that someone else would notice that Jason was missing. Did they even know he was gone? Or was he just in general over reacting to something?

He had been told several times by Wanda when he was with her that he over reacted to things, and was over protective. But the over protection he could not help, because he had saved Wanda several times in the past and was bound to do it again. He sighed after a few minutes finding that his muscles had relaxed and he could move again he got back up willing to check the other parts of the grounds.

He was still breathing a bit heavier, but he refused to let that get in his way. But he knew at this point he would have to find someone to help him out, and let them know that Jason was missing at this point. But the other problem he could think of was that no one else may believe him. Quicksilver had been in the mansion for about a month and a half and he was still not really making any friends, if anything they were neutral at this point. “That’s it…I need to find someone…”

[Megan Gwynn]

Pixie let out a soft sigh as she flew back from town, once more having an unsuccessful search for someone willing to allow her a part time job, all because she had one of the most obvious appearance for a mutant. It was playing against her to even get an interview since no one wanted trouble from the Purifiers and Sentinals or some just plain didn't like mutants. 'Man sometimes this bites,'She thought as she flew over the mansion's entrance gates and glided towards the main entrance door, landing carefully on the steps as she fluttered her wings before landing gracefully. Though it had been a low flight the whole way so she hadn't been that frightened to fly back the whole way.

Normally she would have been fairly nervous and unwilling to fly long distances without her bike helmet but she was getting progressively better and hoped to master flying without being doubtful of her abilities to fly and move without possibly falling. Yet even the idea of that happening made Pixie shudder at the thought of losing control of her flying and free falling, crash landing and possibly causing herself serious injury or getting killed. Shaking her head the young mutant pushed aside such thoughts and came inside the mansion, her wings twitching slightly as she walked and looking around.

The place seemed rather quiet today compared to most, sometimes it was surprising that there had once been so many here and now there was only a few students, including part time ones like herself and only some faculty. 'Amazing this place got so quiet.'She thought before looking towards the stairs where she was surprised to find Quicksilver looking exhausted and een deep in thought, least it appeared that way. Though this was the first real time she had gotten to meet him in person and she didn't see how he was that bad like others had said though she wasn't about to walk off an be rude,"Hi there your Quicksilver right?"She said loud enough he could hear, approaching the speedster with her usual cheerful attitude.

Though she also wasn't aware of the situation that had occurred with Jason nor that Quicksilver was looking for him. If anything she really had a hard time realizing anyone was gone now these days.

[Katherine Pryde]

Kitty sighed as she went after Jason, going to keep an eye on him as she was only a few feet behind him, hidden off to the side she watched his battle and saw him disappear that is when kitty ran out and went up into the air as if running up the stairs as she was heading striaght into a Stnenioala nd tore its wireing before running out and stayong up a bit, looking around as more came at her.

" Mutant, Stop, resist, and you will be harmed."

Kitty laughed as she put her hands on her hips, showing she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, tall black ankle boots, that were six and half inches tall, along with a blue knitted cardigan,a nd white lacy under shirt, as her dark brown hair was down to her hips in soft curls as she laughed and went right throw another setneial ebfore heading to a third, she found someing going striaght for her as she phased, the bullets then truned seeing a few men on the ground shouting take her down, capture that mutant. She grumbled as she then went into another, and ran to the ground looking at the mena s she phased threw one only to turn and start to do hand to hand combat.

KItty had swung ehr left leg at his head to make him drop the gun then began to punch and kikc, before, she grabbed onto his arma nd twisted him, causing the man to flip hwne she found the back of another guys arm, hit ehr in the back of her neck, causing kitty to stumble at bit only to get shot, she fell over to the ground blinking as what ever, she was hit with, made ehr feel limp, numb, as if she was about to sleep. Kitty's vision got blurry when she ehard a man say " Katherine Anne Pryde.. Where are your friends now" she grunted as she then, ended up closing her eyes, everything went black. The men had carried her off like she was nothing.


A few hours later kitty came to, strapped on to a Metal bed, wearing a off white, gown taht you would in a hospital as she saw a tag on her amr, saying her name,. she sighed trying to turn her haead but was unbale too, taht is when Katherine noticed the pain her her arms, she had be pricked,a nd had two IV's in her arms each. Kitty looked around at the bright lights as she saw some black figures forming infront of her. The worst was yet to come.

She found that she was unable to phase, from havinga collar on her neck as she heard a voic speak " Well katherine, It's been a while, Hope you do Not mind, But we need you for a plan to destory you mutants.. Though it is an experiemnt, you will feel pain. " Kitty grumbled only to find her self, blacking out once more.
OCC: so Now its Jason and Kitty captured, heh. Sorry Logan it plays a part in another thing taht will effect Kitty :]

OOC:Okay time to keep this going and for Jason to get beat on.

IC:Jason slowly opened his eyes and forced him self to roll over so that he was on his back all he could feel was the constant throbbing of his own body. He slowly forced himself into a sitting position against the wall so that he wouldn't fall over as soon as Jason's back met the wall he felt a burring pain race through him. He wondered what the hell had happened when it all came rushing back to him with the force of a freight Train the ambush the fight getting shot in the back by the sentinel. This was not his proudest moment his hand went to his right side and he winced as he touch the gash in his side. He glanced down and noticed that someone must have wrapped his wounds when he was passed out so that he didn't bleed to death.

Jason forced himself to his feet using the wall as support and slowly gave the room a quick once over he placed his hand on the wall and focused his power trying to break it down and escape as soon as he tried to tap into his ability the collar around his neck sent a shock through out his body. As the shock ripped through him it forced him to a knee with a slight cry of pain he hadn't know the damn thing was their and the shock hurt like hell Jason slowly stood up slowly as the door opened and a solider entered before Jason could even come up with anything smart to say he was struck in the head with the butt of the guards rifle and dropped back to his knee spitting out blood from the shot as he glared at the man. "You get one of those. The guard brought his weapon down again before his fellow guards grabbed the man to drag him to interrogation to discover what the aged warrior knew.

It didn't take them long to reach the room that reeked of blood and sweat and the tied Jason to a chair so that they could begin."Remember don't do anything that might scar him were the press can see want him all pretty for his confession." As the guard left he laughed leaving Jason alone with his interrogator the man took a step froward and delivered a brass knuckled blow to Jason already injured side and the beating commenced.

Meanwhile at the ambush scene reporters had arrived and and had begun a report on what had happened from the battle to the capture of Jason and Kitty as the had been able to get footage of the fight from people who had been in the area and had been able to put up a small video and began their report."I'm coming to you from downtown were just a few hours ago their was a devastating battle between two Dangerous mutants and Anti Mutant forces while the identity's of the two are unknown the military has informed us that both have been taken into custody more on this story as it comes. When she had said two Mutants an Image of both Kitty and Jason had been flashed onto the screen. At the X manor people watching TV stared in shock as the information that two of their own were in Purity's hands.

OOC:Alright peeps now you all know that the baddies have me and Kitty and the Team would know that both Kitty and Jason have tracking devices.

[Pietro Maximoff]

Pietro looked up as he managed to get some of his breath back, but it still wasn’t easy. As his blue eyes looked around he spotted someone speaking to him. She had bright pink Pixie wings on her side; both of them were symmetrical, copying the other one exactly. What had surprised him was that she spoke to him. Most of the mutants hear had treated him badly he had hardly gained any friends so far. She asked how he was doing, what had been bothering him, but he hadn’t fully told anyone why he was zooming around the mansion.

“Yes that’s me. I’m looking for Jason, he seemed to have vanished, and I already checked the first two floors and was too tired to try the others. I have a bit of strength left in me but I don’t want to lose it.” Pietro explained. His attention turned once more as he heard a news broadcast from a nearby television that was in the main room that they were in. There were several other students in the room but only a few of them had gathered around the television to watch.

It had mentioned something about two dangerous mutants being caught by an anti mutant group. Was one of them Jason? Well it had been answered when his photo had come up. But what also surprised him was that Kitty had been taken as well. Then as the broadcast ended he looked back at Pixie. “Well that confirms my case, two members here are captured. We need to tell the others.” However as he was standing up to leave something like a flying object came down towards the speedster knocking him back on his feet on the ground. He rubbed his head realizing that something like a soft ball had wacked him in the head. He was at least grateful it was nothing like a baseball, or it would have left a big bruise.

“Again. Still some of these people here still hate me it seems.” Pietro said as he rubbed the area where it had hurt. If anything he was going to get a minor bruise there.

"Well guess it answers where some of the others are too, either way this isn't a good situation Quicksilver."Pixie said as she heard the news and was shocked at the footage shown by the news, hating to see some fellow x-men, not to mention teachers, being taken into custody. But what had brought Jason and Kitty into a place where they could be captured so quickly was the real question, unless it had all been a set up to show mutants were just as bad as everyone made them out to be."We have to help them, I hope some of the older students can do the same."Pixie said not about to wait around while friends were in trouble and who knew what could be happening.

Fluttering her wings Pixie quickly took off towards her room to get suited up, wearing a full body training suit that was green and yellow, thick yellow gloves with some black stripes long the side and around the straps, yellow boots with black strapes and black along the bottom. To finish off she also had shoulder guards and a yellow utility belt baring a yellow X for her affiliation and lastly she brought he helmet just in case. It took her only a short time before she came flying back towards the entrance,"Hey whoever is coming to save our teachers better move their butts!"She called, letting her voice echo before she flew out the door.

But she came to the gates and waited, hoping none if the other students or teachers were deterred bythe footage to not help. Hopefully it motivated them to move and not be hesitant.

Surge grumblemed after watching the broadcast, she instatly trhew on her uniform and left her long blue hair down, from not feeling like cutting it yeta s she walked down the hall heading out." I know you cna hear me David, get the rest of the team out to the site, now, please. and Pixie if you are already there, let me know what you see from the sky before the ground team heads down, and the Older X-men show up." she said with confidence into the com she put in her ear as she sighed and closed her fist as electricty shocked aorund ehr arms and body a few crackles before dying down. the pills had worn off,a nd guantlets kept her in control as sighed when she walked into the ente3rance as she looked at Megan.

" Who else is coming. seeing how we have to Rescue Miss Pryde, and Mister well what ever that other guys name is. DO you guys know IF logan will come? after all isn't Miss Katherine like his daughter or something along that lines, though he might jeopradize everything for being over metional, but who could blame that metal hunk right?" she smiled as she then looked pietro." where did you last see them. I have the feeling they the Purists were setting a Trap for one, and got two in the claim. THough either way we will get them back. Pixie i will need your help more then ever this time, can you try not to screw it up?"

she smiled teasing pixie before looking around and placing her hands behind her head sighing as she was relaxing before looking up at the sky for a second then looking down at her shoes thinking to herself before looking at the people already read for the rescue.

[Prodigy]

Like everyone in the Mansion David had also been watching the news broadcast and once it was over tossed on his uniform and his coat. He got the location of Kitty and Jason's trackers from the computer when Surge asked him to get everyone to the site over the com link."Understood Surge I'll be ready to go in five.

It didn't take Prodigy long to gather what he needed and like everyone else he was outside ready to move.He noticed Pietro and Pixie were their as well as Surge and a few other students. He moved until he was standing beside Surge and spoke. Alright I got everything we should need med kit and my tools to remove the collars their sure to have on in case. Ready to move out when you are Surge. David said this and put his glasses on so that he could have access to the main computer in case the captured team members were moved before the arrived.

[Katherine Pryde]

Kathereine sighed as she slowly woke up looking around the room as she found her self cuffed to a Bed, with no sheets and a ploow, she looked at herself as she could not phase from the collar, she found that she was in a gown that you would wear in a hospital or seiously injured, with beast or Jason. She grumbled a bit as she shook her ehad before feeling the apin in her arms from the IVs that she had hooked to her before she noticed her ankles were cuffed to the bed as well as her waist. she felt some pain in her abdomen, but it faded after a few minutes. Katherine looked up seeing a large light on her as she blinked her eyes and squinted them a bit before hearing a door open., she saw a few men lab coats, and more behind them with guns. Katherine tried to break free but could not.

SHe looked at them as she was moving trying to get free only to hear voices tell her to clam down and go to sleep. SHe found a needle in her left arm as she stopped moving and her eyes closed as she looked at them, getting tired, and falling back into a sleep. Though her mind was stioll on how tio escape, or how to keep others from being captured. she wished she knew what the men were doing to her body while she was out, only able to feel a few jabs of needles and hear nothing as she saw darkness.

Katherine wandered if this is what death actually felt like, she wished Wolverine was here to save her, but she knew he would of been put at risk, and she wanted to prove to him as an instrutor that she could save herself.

[Jason Stormbringer]

Jason groaned as he took yet another shot from his interrogator and he couldn't help but chuckle as the man shook his hand in pain while Jason spit out some blood on the floor before he glanced at the man. "Is that really the best you got I Come on Kitty hit harder then that. Jason said this with a slight grin as the man gave him a smile that slightly worried Jason before he spoke. "Well maybe I should just go and ask Miss Pryde what she thinks of my method" He said this with a sick grin as he got ready to hit Jason again aiming a punch for his head.

Jason's eyes narrowed when the man said Kittys name and the way he had said he'd ask her meant that she too had been captured. Then it hit him before he had passed out he could remember seeing Kitty in the area she had probably followed him just in case this happened despite him telling no one to follow him. Then he remembered that Kitty rarely listened to anyone other then Logan he quickly began to try and think of a way he could get out when it hit him.

Jason moved fast and lowered his head so that the interrogator punched him on the top of the head the hardest part of the human body. Their was a loud cracking sound as the mans knuckles shattered on Jason's head before Jason Used his upper body strength to break the hand cuffs which held him to the chair. As soon as the hand cuffs were off Jason's hand's shot to the collar and he began to focus using the one part of his power that would still work his emotional control. Jason felt Rage at the moment Pure Rage as these men held one of his friends in this place and god only knew what they were doing to her using this he was able to tap into his power. Despite the pain he felt from the shock he was able to tap into enough of his power to destroy the collar it fell to the ground with a metal clang. Jason then grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him up off the ground holding him off the ground with his right arm and he began to squeeze.

Jason almost growled at the man as his eyes seemed to glow red with his rage. "Tell me were she is and I'll you go. The man chocked but answered truthfully. "Down the hall through the double doors at the end that's all I know now let me go". With that Jason gave his neck a quick twist filling the room with a loud snapping sound."I lied"With that Jason made his way out of the room and down the hall he had to deal with a few guards but dealt with them with a few High powered concussive blasts which turned their organs to mush.

Jason reached the room were the Solider had said that Kitty was being held and after blasting the door of it's hinges he made his way in. He noticed Kitty on the table hooked up to the Machines and quickly went to work disconcerting her. "Don't worry Kat I'll have you out of her in a second."

[Katherine Pryde]

KItty was strapped to the bed out of it, as she was looking at the lights blinking she heard a voice, but only saw a dark figure as she thrashed around while Jason was trying to take everything off her, she pulled wn Iv out of her left arm not caring bout the surging pain in her arm from doing so, and ingoring the wet feeling off blood falling down itr as she looked at him in fear."STOP! DON"T TOUCH ME!!" sjhe screamed thrashing more, once her hands and feet were un don ahd jumped off the bed backing up from Jason to a wall, still having the collar on, as two Ivs dangled from ehr writs, the tubbing dragging on the ground as she watched him, the second he stepped to her saying Kat, she moved anbd grabbed his arm twisting it and twirling in around to his back, pulling it up before she went to sweep kick his legs and put him on his knees as she was using what Logan taght her.

Martial arts, various forms, kitty then pushed him into the ground and took off running with tubbing dragging behind her, as she took off pushing the doors open looking around as she ran down the hall trying to find a room to hide in. Kitty sighed as her ehart was pounding, she had stickeds on her chest and head still, from the wires thatw ere connected to machines, onto them. Kitty contrinued to run trhew two more doors before tunring into a room of stroange crates as she ran into a maze of them then hid inside one, shutting the door quietly and holding it closed waiting to see if the man was still followingher.

Kitty took a deep breathe before waiting to hear foot steps, whens he did, she started to breathe shallow so that they could not be heard, she was sweating a bit from running and fear, not knowing who the man was, friend or foe.
