Mutant Power (if applicable):
Josh's power is to manipulate the organic material on a genetic level which he uses to mainly heal wounds. This ability requires him to have direct contact with those he wishes to heal. Because of the nature of his power, Elixir has received in depth knowledge on human anatomy. With a greater understanding of the inner workings of the human body, he has demonstrated the ability to heal or even re-grow tissues that have been damaged beyond repair or removed completely. For example, if a classmate was seriously injured then Josh could reconstruct the organ, piece by piece, until it was complete. Seeing as how he managed to restore Rahne's ability, he may be able to restore people's abilities yet this needs to be explored further before it can be confirmed. He has also demonstrated the ability to heal his own minor wounds at a subconscious level, however healing greater damage to his own body does take some degree of concentration.
Theoretically, he may even have the capacity to alter his own genetic code, which may be why he is classed as a potential Omega. Elixir has also demonstrated offensive uses of his powers. When enraged by an attack on the Mansion, Elixir made contact with William Stryker and reversed his healing power, which caused Stryker to rapidly die. This power has been demonstrated since, and is an ability that he has limited control over. While he has begun to explore what he can do with his healing abilities, he has yet to fully explore his control over the reversal of healing, and any practice of this ability will most likely result in the death of his target.
Personality:
Josh, like everyone, is a complex person and has many sides to him.
Originally, Josh was one of the mutant-haters. He had been drilled by his parents to hate them, he had even joined the Reavers, a group of mutant-haters. Josh had always been a popular boy, good at sports, admired by his friends and good with the ladies. He would pick on outcasts, and bully them. He seemed like your average jock, but he did have a softer side that few rarely saw. However, that all changed when he manifested his powers fully for the first time.
Now Josh got to see how life was when he was the mutant. He initially refused his future legal guardian, hoping that his friends and family would accept him, but he found he was wrong. His friends rejected him, and his own family disowned him. This was a blow to the lad. He truly learnt how mutants were treated, and immediately felt guilt over his past actions. So, it was only natural that he would be a little anti-social at first, when he was sent to Xavier's. However, he soon began to integrate with the others and formed friendships with Hellion, Wallflower and others, thereby becoming happier and less anti-social.
Now he had friends again, Josh became a lot happier, and began to understand his new abilities. He wanted to know how to better his understanding of the mutant world. Josh is loyal to his friends, and will stand by them. However, if he feels they are in the wrong in any way he will not hesitate to stop them.
When M-Day hit, and the majority of the student body became de-powered, and he wasn't able to save a fellow student, who was dying due to an attack from the Purifiers, Josh felt like he had failed to save the student. He becomes depressed if that happens so he tries not to fail anyone else again. Also, don't bring up Laurie Collins - he's still touchy about it. Additionally, to this day, he still harbours guilt for the way he treated mutants before he became one, and has been trying to better himself ever since.
Josh is a natural ladies man. He doesn't have to do anything - they just seem attracted to him. He's had two main women in his short life so far: Wolfsbane and Wallflower. While he may have had a secret relationship with the former, he was geniunely happy when with the latter. Furthermore, when Josh angry, he's angry. If you've hurt someone he loves, he'll come after you like a dog to a bone.
Can't you see we are the same?
Eyes: Aqua blue
Hair: Golden-blue
Physique:
Josh Foley has had three big changes to his appearances. Before and after his powers manifested, he had the look of a blonde-haired and blue-eyed teenage boy, who some could argue looked like a modern-day Adonis. He wore t-shirts with jeans and hoodies. After he managed to restore his former teacher's powers, he became a literal Golden Boy. Next, when he killed Stryker, his skin temporarily became a metallic black colour. When he had managed to calm down, his skin became somewhat like a lava lamp - predominantly gold with black pigments. Currently when he uses his powers, his skin will turn to the dominant color of whichever power he is using. So if he uses his hands to heal, they become primarily gold in color. Conversely, when he uses his death touch, black becomes the predominant color of his hands. Recently his hair & eyebrows appear more of a white/silver color.
Josh stands at five foot seven inches, and is lean. He continues to wear t-shirts, jeans and hoodies when not training. When training with the team, he wears a black and silver one-piece, short-sleeved costume.

This war we're fighting is undecided...
History:
Josh Foley was born into an average family: a mother, a father and two older brothers. They were mutant-haters, and so naturally drilled it into him that he must hate mutants too, unaware that he would become himself. His infant and childhood years were pretty normal - he had found that he excelled in sports so took up basketball. All in all, Josh's early life was happy.
During the early stages of teenhood, the lad would join a mutant-hating group called The Reavers. They would fight with mutants, and generally cause mayhem for them. It would be after an attack on some mutant that the group's leader, Donald Pierce, would slash him across his hand. It healed immediately but Josh dismissed it, thinking nothing of it. Some years later, the Reavers conducted an attack against Dani Moonstar's New Mutants. It was here that his mutant power would manifest fully, when he saved an injured Laurie Collins a.k.a Wallflower, deciding to do something for the greater good. Josh tried to hide this, and initally refused Dani's offer to come to the Institute, only to go when both friends and family rejected him.
He roomed with Prodigy, and the two had a rocky start, since Josh felt that he was being judged constantly for his past deeds. His parents also passed over legal guardianship over to Dani Moonstar, effectively disowning him completely. For the first few weeks, Josh felt like an outcast, which led him to seek refuge with Rahne Sinclaire a.k.a Wolfsbane, an ex-teammate of his legal guardian. They spent an evening together that led to an intense kiss, which caused Josh to inadvertently restore her powers. Unfortunately, this led to the youth being slashed by Rahne. Wallflower, who had harboured a crush on Josh, saw the whole thing, and managed to get help. Josh was rushed to the Infirmary. Prodigy instructed another student codenamed Surge to shock him into consciousness, so that he could heal himself. However, in the healing process, his skin became golden, turning him in the "Golden Boy" he always wanted him to be.
Wolfsbane and Josh continued a secret relationship until the former saw that Josh was attracted to Wallflowe and so ended the relationship. He and Wallflower quickly became an item and the two were happy for a time....until a fellow student by the name of Kevin Ford exposed his relationship with Rahne to the school. As a result, Rahne was fired from her job, and Wallflower used her pheramone power to keep him away. Prodigy, and his entire team except for Surge ostracised him. His team leader, Wind Dancer decided to take a camping trip, to try fix things within the team. It was here where Josh opened up about the disappointments he felt about himself. After healing both Colossus and Kitty Pryde from an incident with the Danger Room, Josh fell into a coma. After awakening from this state, Josh decided he wanted to take a more peaceful approach to life. This caused more tension within the team, with Rockslide going so far to suggest that they may need to find a replacement for Elixir. During this time, Josh also became closer to Beast as the aforementioned X-Man taught him about biology and other life sciences in order for him to excel in the use of his powers. Anole then suggested that instead of using so much effort to learn this information, it would just be easier for the Stepford Cuckoos to simply transmit Beast's knowledge directly into Elixir's mind. Although reluctant to go through with this plan, he eventually went along with it.
Sometime later, M-Day happened. Wither tried to touch Wallflower, thinking that he was de-powered but alas, he only made her arm decay. When the majority of the students became de-powered and were about to be sent home by bus, a missile hit the bus, almost instantly killing all of them. The Purofiers had come to attack the Institute. Josh tried to heal one of them but to no avail. He then blamed himself for not helping and lashed out at Colossus, causing Emma Frost to kick him off the team. He healed him and Shadowcat. A while later, Anole suggested that the Cuckoos transfer all the information from Beast's brain to his, which is something Josh was initially reluctant to do, but did go through with it in the end. A few minutes later, he was arguing with Wallflower when Stryker shot her. This triggered something in Josh, and his beautiful, smooth, gold skin turned metallic black. In rage he killed Stryker. For a time, Josh's skin was metallic black and he spent most of his time in his room after that. However, he managed to change his skin - turning it into golden skin with black pigments, making it look like a lava lamp. After apologising to Emma, Cyclops and Colossus, he was allowed back on the team.
It has been three months now, and Josh is still learning about his powers - both aspects of his powers. He has now been forgiven properly by his old teammates and is training alongside his new teammates, unaware of the changes that are about to come.

Role-play Example:
Coal black eyes penetrated the haze that clouded the Acheron, through to the mortal world, namely Crete. As of late, Hades had wanted to check up on these puny mortals, see if they were worth caring about. Of course his niece, Artemis, cared enough about these mortals enough to have some in her little army of Huntresses. It was a shame that she didn’t have the might of Underworld at her back. He would love to send her some of his soldiers to her aid but she was too proud, just like her dear old Dad. It sometimes sickened the Lord of the Dead how his dear brother could be so…so lustful. Were they not satisfied with their own wives? But Hades couldn’t really judge, since he too had had his fair share of women: Minthe and Leuce. Persephone would be his true love though.
As Hades’ eyes swept the nation, his ears picked out various conversations. Gods, these mortals talked about such trivial matters! Were their lives so boring that they had to resort to…to this! See, this is why Hades almost never got involved with mortals. They were so boring. He wondered why his siblings mingled with these mortals. They didn’t deserve any lavish attention. With his siblings and their children paying so much attention to these lowly mortals, it a wonder they got anything done. Hades sighed, took a deep gulp and counted to ten. Hades’ anger wasn’t needed at this moment in time. After all, he was in his domain with his two lovely daughters and beautiful, beautiful wife.
As Hades roved the streets, he thought he heard scientists speak.
“My Lord!” said an attendant, his voice piercing Hades’ mind. The Lord of the Underworld sighed deeply and returned to the Underworld. His coal black eyes examined the attendant, and immediately, the attendant began to quiver. Hades curled in lip in satisfaction. “W-We have a-a real b-bad one, m-m-my Lord.” He loved making the attendant scared out of their wits. Made him feel a little slither of satisfaction, knowing that he could match Hera in terms of being imposing. Hades gestured for the guy to be brought in, to which the attendant gladly obliged.
Soon, a pot-bellied man with greasy garments and a very bad odour was being escorted. He was making a ruckus. Well, that would have to be stopped.
“Let go of me! You can’t do this!” he screamed to the escorts, who merely grinned back. Hades frowned. What an uncouth man!
“Silence mortal!” he bellowed, to which the man shut up and started whimpering with fear. Hades wrinkled his nose in disgust. “Telmogarineas, you have been brought to me for a reason. Do you know why?” The man shook with fear. Hades allowed the briefest of smiles to pass on his snow-white face. The Lord of the Dead got up, making the faces on his robes moan. This made the man cower.
“Uh…’cos I-I killed a f-family, robbed a b-bank and raped a woman?” he said, hoping that the answer would appease Hades.
“Correct! You were tried and then sentenced to ten years in prison. However, you managed to break out of that. So, for your punishment….” Hades circled the man, with the escorts behind him. The faces moaned phrases of despair and doom, making the man cower and shrink back.
Hades got an idea.
“Telmogarineas, you shall spend eternity trapped inside a burning prison. Every time you reach the escape exit, you shall fall and burn. You shall do this every day! Do you understand?” he commanded. The man, who was in tears by now, merely nodded. “Very good. Your feeble mind understands. Take this disgusting mortal where he belongs.” The escorts nodded and dragged the sobbing man away, with Hades watching. He then sighed contentedly. He loved this job sometimes.
