Pietro had gone on a walk still like he wasn’t fully adjusted to the mansion; many of the mutants who knew who he was had treated him with hostility just as he had guessed he would be. He had been attacked by several of the younger students several times and currently he just wanted a break from it all.
Only a few seemed to have trusted him at this point and as for the attacks he wanted to strike back at the kids but they were just kids... He sat down at a nearby bench by himself near the basket ball court. Several kids had already been playing there and as he hadn’t been paying attention a ball came over hitting him straight in the face. He was at least lucky that his quick intellect had figure out what it was so he could react to it without making a fool of himself. Though, the kids couldn’t have been more than eleven or thirteen, as he tried to hide his frustration from them.
“Sorry sir…can we have our basketball back?” One of them asked as Pietro realized that they had probably meant it as an accident. Sighing he picked up the ball with one hand and tossed it back to the closest kid that was there, so they could go back to playing. His frustration died down forgiving the kids, seeing that it was an accident by most of the time, and eventually he forgave them.
“But am I really an X-Man at this point? I still feel like an outcast here…and I feel like I will have to do more than just prove myself to the others.” He asked himself. But being that he couldn’t find himself sitting still so he got up and starte to walk towards the cemetary he had heard some of the kids talk about while he was walking past back in the mansion trying to settle in. The walk had been a nice one, a long one, of course he could have used his speed to get there but this was a bit slower...he wanted to take his time, and even he himself found that a bit odd for him. He entered the woods carefully inspecting every area he could, the path lead a bit further down before he could alreay see the graves. He was shocked just to see how many statutes or stones were up for the children that had died, he hadn't known for sure on what the number was, but now he had an idea.
The graves of the lives that had been lost were up as he read a few of the names as he walked through. The place was well kept and cleaned in respect of those that they had there. None of the names that he knew were any that he had recognized but he was sure that it had affected many families. He found himself stopping at one of the main memorials that was up. Apparently it was a statue for Jean Grey-yes he had heard about her on how marvelous she was. A gifted telepath with many more abilities that he was sure she had.

It had been a busy day for Jason between teaching and having to treat the injuries of a few reckless students he had been rather busy. He couldn't help but sigh as he walked around the grounds he had figured that their would be some distrust for Pietro but he hadn't thought anyone would out right attack him.
Jason had had a rather harsh talk with the attackers in the form of Hand to Hand combat training needless to say they would be slightly sore for a while. Jason made his way towards the cemetery he had been looking around for Pietro to see how he was adjusting to life in the Mansion.'Ya Adjusting hey Pietro how ya doing barley here for a month and you've been attacked what 5 times'. With this thought in mind Jason approached the Elder speedster.
Jason gave the area a quick once noticing all the graves of the students who had died in the attack on the bus and noticed that Pietro was currently looking at the memorial for Jean Grey. Jason approached slowly as he had heard Pietro question if he was really an X man and he Spoke. "If your a member or not is entirely up to you and if you chose to stay or not.
Jason walked until he was standing beside the young speedster and reached out and brushed some leaves off of the Statue he then glanced at the younger mutant. 'I was going to ask how you were settling in but I already heard a little. I'm sorry about that but I have spoken to the students who attacked you and they swear they won't do it again.
Jason smiled as he spoke and then turned towards the speedster. "So how was your first few weeks at the Mansion when you weren't under attack".

“Well being that I got so upset over my father-Magneto. I don’t think I’m going over there, with the brotherhood, again." But he wondered at this point if his relationship with his father would ever be set in stone where one or the other showed that they weren't going to be upset over each other or no longer held a grudge. It had been about thirty three years, he realised that he hadn't known who his father was. And that was certainly a long time, would this silent anger continue? Maybe...
Other than that, I got smacked with a basketball a few moments ago, but the kids had apologized so I dropped it at that. Also I met my nephew Speed a few times. He seems to be doing pretty well and wants to put up a date where we can get together at one point when his work isn’t so full for him. But thank you for telling the kids to stop; it hasn’t been easy, really.” Pietro explained, he felt like he could get along with Jason now that he thought about it. Some of the older members were certainly a lot nicer when it came to speaking with him. He hadn’t seen Kitty since the day that they were on the streets of New York and thought it would be good to surprise her that he had taken to a thought of joining the X-Men had happened.
As for the other staff members, he wasn’t so sure what to think of them or what they thought of him, he could only hope that they weren’t going to be as harsh on him as some of the students were. “But I think I will stay being that I have family on this team, and I’m sure there are more motivations that will keep me here.” He assured Jason as he looked up seeing him brush off some of the leaves that had fallen onto the statue. He was already thinking of what might happen if he was a part of the team, besides the distrust, what could he provide to them? Well he could hack into security and override systems like that being that he had experience on it, or if they wanted someone rescued, he could go in without the enemies even noticing him and make the escape easy. But whatever it was, it wasn’t his choice at this point but the Professor’s.

Jason couldn't help but chuckle as Pietro thanked him for talking to the students who had attacked him and Jason spoke. "Well after the lesson they had I'm pretty sure they won't be in the mood to attack anyone for a while but no problem." Jason smiled as Pietro said that he had met a member of his family and Jason couldn't help but smile. "Well I'm glad you were able to find something to help you decide to stay here and theirs nothing quite like family is their well Family that you like. Jason said this and his smile wavered for a second but he quickly regained his composer.
Jason then moved and sat on the ground and glanced at the speedster and spoke."Don't worry Pietro it'll take sometime but you'll get use to this place it's not easy waking up some were new I should know I had to do that for a while when I was with my Past employer and it takes getting used to. But one day you'll look around and it'll be hard to imagine a time you weren't here. As Jason said this he remembered a few times when he had been a member of the Four Emperors and all the times he had to travel around. He then looked at Pietro and smiled hoping to put the man at ease. "You know you and I have a lot in common we both haven't always tried to be the good guys and both of are Dads are assholes." As Jason said this he laughed and glanced at the Statue of Jean Grey.

Pietro raised an eye a bit as he listened to what Jason had to say, so maybe that was why the two were getting along so well at this point? They had common pasts along with fathers who were complete strangers and had believes that were hard to comprehend; he wondered what it was like for Jason as he looked back at the man. He also found it hard to believe at one point that he could have been a villain, but then again it was hard to tell these days what side people could be on sometimes. “You were a villain once? I find that hard to believe no offense really. But now that I think about it you weren’t hesitant when you saw me at the front. I was ready to bolt out of there, the first time I saw trouble. Because you knew what I was going through.” Pietro explained, his voice showing how surprised he was.
“I hope so, and who knows? Maybe I can convince my sister Wanda to join. But I haven’t seen her in a while…” He trailed off as he was certainly worried about his sister he hadn’t really known what she was up too. But if he did find her, one of the first things that he would do was going to show that Tommy was with the X-Men, being that Tommy was the reincarnated son of hers, he was still family.

Jason laughed as Pietro said that he just couldn't see Jason as a villian and he couldn't help but grin as he spoke. "Just remember Pietro it's always the person you least suspect that have the most to hide. Jason allowed his smile to drop as he listened to Pietro's hope that he could convince Wanda to join him with the X-men. He glanced up at Pietro as the young man seemed to think about his sister and decided to comment about when Pietro compared thier past's."Sadly Pietro you probaly have less demons in your past then I do but yes I did notice you and I were kindred sprits who had both once lost them selves but what you did for your familiy I did for myself. Probaly how I became on of the Four Emperors.
At the Mention of the Emperors his face lost some of it's warmth and he rubbed his his shoulder where one of the scars from his final battle against his former freinds rested from shoulder to his waist in a diaganoal line. Jason then looked at Pietro and decided to try and help him with his family problem. "I'm sure your sister would still love to hear from you she might not be the best at showing it but i'm sure she cares for you greatly. If you want I can probaly ask some of my old contacts if they can help you track her down. Jason said this allowing the warmth to return to his features as he offred his help to his kindred spirit.

“We can try but I think for now just one step at a time. I’m still settling in and it hasn’t been easy like I had said.” Pietro said with a soft shrug, knowing that Jason was correct on what he had said about his sister was no doubt bound to be true. And he was also sure that she wanted to see Tommy again. But when he heard Jason mention of the Four Emperors, he had never heard of them and was certainly curious of who they were. But he recognized the look on his face, Jason seemed a bit saddened by that sentence so he decide to keep quiet about it. He didn’t want to bring up old memories for him.
“But you’re right for years I didn’t know who my true father was, but I understand why that secret, was kept from us until we were adults when we-my sister and I met our father. Though I don’t think either one of us knew it. But now that we know how we’re related and how badly he treated us back then, I don’t think he’d change his actions. But at this point I don’t really need my father I’ve been independent for a good chunk of my life so far.” Pietro said realizing that he was starting up again on his past when he had told himself not to bring it up to Jason. “I’m sorry if I’m not making things any better; it’s just that I’ve never gotten a chance to tell anyone how I felt. Only Wanda made me feel better when I spoke with her.”

Jason nodded when Pietro said that he wanted to wait before looking for his sister and Jason had to admit that was a good idea. Jason listened as Pietro also talked about his past with his Father and how he had been treated even before knowing that the mad man had been his father. Jason couldn't help but sigh as he glanced up towards the sky before he grinned at the younger man. "Isn't it odd that it's always the strangest things that bring people together. Jason chuckled as He leaned against the tree he was sitting under and sighed He didn't know if it was the breeze or just the quite that surround the are but he felt slightly at ease.
Jason then decided to voice some thoughts about Pietro's situation and spoke in a sagely tone which reminded him slightly of Yoda from star wars. "Always remember Pietro what ever your father may have done you are not him. He chose his path just as you have chosen yours and your sister hers. Just take it one day at a time and you'll make after all their are people here who have your back." Jason smiled as he spoke he hoped that Pietro was able to find a place at the Mansion he may not know it but Even he had skill that the team could use. And he was probably the only person who could keep up with speed on a sugar rush.

“Yeah it is certainly strange; years ago I would have never thought of joining the X-Men.” Pietro said as he looked back at Jason as he sat down against one of the nearby trees. He just felt like he couldn’t sit down just yet, he had been walking for a distance around the grounds, but eventually he would give into it. He felt himself nodding as he watched Jason; he couldn’t agree more with the older man at what he had said. But as he spoke he still wasn’t sure what to offer to the group, he could infiltrate into places being that he had done it several times with his father, he was normally too fast to be seen with the humans and could crack passwords after several tries without taking too long. But still he didn’t know much in that field.
He could take a teaching job, but what could he offer for the younger students? Half of them may still bully him for his heritage or something else they held a grudge for. Well like Jason said it was best if he took it slowly this time, “You’re right about that though. Many others expect me to have a path similar to my father’s. I’ve ignored a lot of what they said on the other hand and attempted to do what you said.”
