Obisidan Form: His obisidian form only provides him for powerful attacks, but if he is hit in certain areas such as the head or rendered unconscious, he is forced back into his normal human form where he is vulnerable. Also in this form he can not form ramps but is forced to use basic moves with his geokinesis, such as moving decent sized boulders and can no longer create things like rock ramps.
Sound Manipulation: Things such as sonic bombs can easily shatter his obisidian form.
Air Manipulation: He must be on the ground at all times in order to use his geokenisis powers. If he is up in the air, say a plane or someone is carrying he can't use his earth powers.
Mutant Power (if applicable):[/size]
Geokinesis: He posseses the ability to manipulate the geography of his surrounding area through a force of will. He can reshape existing rock and use them as weapons or create something simlar as a ramp to glide across that can easily hold his weight. Being that earth is always around him he can't easily loose this power unless he is forced into the air.
Organic Obisidan Form: A physical widespread secondary mutation took place over Shawn allowing his body to form into a deep black coloring. It formed into a powerful rock and glass like structure known as Obisidan. He must transform all parts of his body into this form, and can remain in it for several hours without having to change back. However if he is rendered unconsious, he must change back to his human form. In this form he still has some minor abilities to use his geokinesis but he is no longer able to form more complicated manuvers like his ramps.
Super Human Strength: In his obisidan form he can gain super human strength allowing him to lift two and a half tons at his peak. He can easily lift one and a half tons without straining himself.
Super Human Durability: His Obisidan form renders him highly resistant to most forms of physical injury. He is able to resist forces such as being struck by a superhuman force, without being injured. He can also withstand extreme heat around 5,000 degrees fahrenheit. He is also self contained in this form not needing oxygen, water, or food.

Shawn is a decent guy who is favoring in loyalties. if you are a friend or just happen to have similar beliefs. He will defend you and assure you that he has your back. He is also very protective of loved ones making sure that they are safe before he is.
And being how young he is, he often makes mistakes without fully thinking things through. He will try to do things that seem impossible or rather difficult to do believing that he can make it, like he’s invincible. He is also a fast learner when things are taught to him

He stands at 6”0’ and weighs about 155 pounds. His clothes usually consist of medium length jeans and he also wears a long shirt underneath a jacket that he wears in the winter.

Shawn was the first born of John and Sierra Anderson who lived in Miami Florida. Four years after he was born the family had their first daughter, named Sierra. Shawn was very close to his sister as the two were raised. When Shawn was 18, the family decided to go out on a vacation into the Rocky Mountains for a camping trip. On one of the hikes, Sierra had gone ahead while Shawn went after her to try and keep up. However they had ignored some of the signs that the area was unstable and known for rock slides.
The two were caved in and almost crushed to death, but at the same time his powers were starting to come in at this point as Shawn began to move the rocks out of the way. Using his geokinesis powers, his first mutation, he could move the earth to his will. Eventually he found Sierra but suffered from a heavy injury himself. He had one leg and injured the other heavily. Shawn was sent to the hospital for treatment and for about a few months later he recovered. However by the time Shawn had gotten out of the hospital he had noticed that Sierra was getting a bit strange. She was acting different.
But being that he had done nothing to try to confront her about her feelings, he had noticed that one day that she had disappeared. He started to feel grief for his sister’s disappearance but remained with his parents not saying a thing about it. Eventually one night he found himself in this new form that he couldn’t change out of. His obsidian form made him look like glass and he refused to go out in public looking like this, so he remained in his home and hardly went out. However the news of the teenagers that had survived of the faithful day had eventually reached the Professor. The Professor came to the residence explaining who he was, having an intention of having both of the teenagers come with him, but they had explained that Shawn was the only one there and didn’t want to go.
The Professor had noticed Shawn sitting by himself in his obsidian form and with his mental powers he helped repress the ability showing that he could focus on it and changed his body back into his human form. Seeing this, the Professor had convinced him to join the X-Men. He said his fair well to his parents but had still showed signs of worry for Sierra, wondering if he would ever see her again as he left his new home to become an X-Men. As of now he is working hard to be a student.

Role-play Example:
"Okay, Shawn it’s just a dare, once you get this done you can go back home, like nothing happened." Shawn said trying to calm himself down. He had a flash light on as it lit further down in the cave. The cave had once been used for a mining town ages ago, probably about a century so ago. The lighting and electrical supply had run out making it difficult or even impossible to see through the human eyes. As he walked down it he heard his friend’s footsteps behind him, they were in rhythm as they walked. He had brought the friends along with him as proof that he had gone on the dare. They too had brought their flash lights with them and a back-up in case they ran out of electricity.
The reason why this place had shut down was a mystery to many, and a scary story of how an infant had wandered onto this place and was killed in the shafts. After that the mines were shut down after announcing to be unstable by the investigators. Of course the curious and the greedy still wanted to visit these places to see if there were any riches in the area. Either they came up empty or fell to a similar doom of the child. Sadly the labyrinth within the mines further below the ground had been in constant move. Rockslides happened all the time and caused old passage ways to collapse and new ones to be created. If anyone went down here who was unfamiliar with the place was bound to be doomed.
“We’ll be okay, Shawn I’m sure of it. We just have to go down a few more feet and turn back.” One of his friends had said as they walked. The voice was assuring but his own instincts showed that he was worried something bad was going to happen, but he wasn’t sure what. Whatever it was he didn’t want to find out. Once they got to the certain amount of feet they finally stopped to take a break as they looked back at each other. Shawn found himself leaning against one of the walls as he looked up at the ceiling. They waited a bit before deciding to go. Letting themselves catch their breath and let their muscles relax.
-15 minutes later-
Finally they decided that it was time to go, however as they began to head back Shawn felt that nervousness return as they saw the exit and entrance out of this place. His friends were eager to get out faster as they ran ahead. However Shawn stopped hearing a noise behind him. Guys, do you hear that? He asked looking back at the others who hadn’t heard them. The noise got louder as Shawn realized it was above him, something was shaking. However by the time he figured out what it was it was too late, rocks began to crumble off the ceiling and fell down below, Shawn tried to find a way out of the mess but soon dust began to rise. He felt his body suddenly fall to the floor as he attempted to avoid his head from being crushed.
"Oh no, this isn’t good at all! What happened? Why can’t I…" He realized as he tried to pull himself up after the dust had cleared he coughed heavily as he tried to clear it from his lungs, and gave in at that point on trying to stand. His legs, he couldn’t feel them one bit. He began to panic again wondering what had happened to his friends, and more importantly his body. As he looked back and began to feel the area around him he realized that he had been trapped within one of the rock slides. He pressed his hands against one of the boulders expecting it to be much stronger than it normally had been. He was surprised against this as he began to push on it even harder, and eventually the boulder began to come off his legs so he could move. But his legs were stiff and beaten like they couldn’t work at all. Had he crushed them? They had stung with pain making him motionless as he was sitting there.
"What happened?" He asked himself still trying to make sense of what was going on.
