Mutant Power
Wing Manifestation:One of Sandra’s second mutations which grants her feathered bird-like wings. What is different is they have a red-orange to gold coloration through the different layers of feathers, much resembling phoenix wings. They can stretch out about 18 feet in total length when spread fully.
Enhanced Vision: Her last power to manifest Sandra can objects or people in greater clarity and distance, or can see things with greater detail compared to most.
Pyrokinesis/Regeneration:Sandra’s first power that manifested a little before her Wings and hollow bones. With this she can create and control fire, which she can manifest from using her own energy or from sources nearby. She can also shape it into objects, primarily weapon shapes such as boomarangs, fireballs, and occasionally other weaponry which are solid enough to cause some bruising or cuts along with 1st to 2nd degree burns. She can also create a full body phoenix-shaped fire that surrounds her body and moves as she does.
Hollow Bones:To help with her flight Sandra’s bones have become hollow like that of a bird, allowing her great agility and maneuverability.
Power Limits:
A major drawback to Sandra’s hollow bones is she is more susceptible to serious injury such as breaking a bone then a normal human, despite having greater agility and maneuverability. Her wings are likewise to suffer a similar fate if she isn’t careful and she is able to fly to about 1,000 feet before she must land. Also wind currents and enough room is required for her to maintain flight or to be able to take off or land.
Also being able to produce fire depends mostly on her physical condition, meaning if she is at full strength she can maintain use of the fire for little over an hour. But being sick or tired she can maintain it for 20 minutes and sometimes not create it at all. And fire using a fire she must have a source of it like a lamp, campfire, or even a candle. Though she also has to be weary of her anger for if she uses it she can cause a fire to become uncontrollable, especially with her full body phoenix shape.
With her vision Sandra has to wear sunglasses since being within direct source of light can hurt them since they are now sensitive and she often has to wear them.
Personality:
Sandra is one of those girls who has a fiery, stubborn personality and can be hard to get along with. Sometimes she isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind nor to be rude and blunt, which often gets her in trouble with the wrong people. None the less she likes to play pranks on people and show that humorous side to herself despite the quick temper she has.
On the other hand however Sandra is fiercely loyal to everyone she is close to, at one point it was her family until they disowned her. In times of danger she will lay down her life or fight until she is killed or taken down or can’t fight anymore. So in a sense she can have a caring and kind side, though mostly she will hide it.
can't you see we are the same?
Eyes:Honey-amber
Hair:Ginger
Physique:Sandra is about 5’7 in height and weighs 90 pounds, though she appears to weigh normal due to her size and age. She has a lean, curvy body and is certainly built to be an athlete. Her hair comes just short of her shoulders, her eyes are an unusual honey-amber color, and her skin is a dark tan. Her clothes normally consist of jean or leather material be it shorts, pants, or skirts or even shirts and jackets. She will often wear plain t-shirts or tank tops which often have slits for her wings. Also all over her back are scars from several lashings by her father, which strangely also some make up a six-pointed star in the middle.

History:
Sandra's past has mainly been that of a normal life for any girl, having friends, a loving family, and enjoying a comfortable middle class life. From a young age she has always been into sports such as track and soccer, even taking up a hobby of parkour, or wall running. Also from elementary to high school she has excelled in academics with an A-B average and seemed to have a perfect life.
Though the only down side was that her family hated mutants, and of course Sandra was expected to hate them as well. But instead she really didn't care for human-mutant conflicts and saw little reason to hate mutants, though she did have a small dislike for them but nothing close to hate. However, when Sandra reached the age of thirteen things began to change. On the day of her birthday and becoming a teenager she had a bad incident of blowing out the candles on her cake, the flames shooting out at anyone nearby and burning three of her friends. At first there wasn't much concern except for possible stray embers from the flames.
Over the course of the next two years however it was quite clean the incident wouldn't be the last. Several times when Sandra was around fire and she did something it would react with her, or sometimes even taking some shapes, though there were some instances she created the fire without meaning to. Next her hollow bones were noticed when she began to come faster and quicker then normal, even surprising some of her teammates on the track and soccer.
At first Sandra was quite fearful of her parents knowing, not aware they suspected something but merely let it go. It was also in this span of time Sandra faced back and eye pains, not knowing what was causing it. Just recently however she has discovered the pains were from her developing wings and enhanced vision which now has her fearing for her life. It can also be noted that throughout the suspicion from her parents she has been abused by her father, having to go through whippings that left permanent scars on her back and a few creating a six-pointed star in the very middle of it.

Role-play Example:
Sandra continued to pace back and forth in her room, wincing from every step she took since her now developed wings had manifested and were still painful and sore. But she had to deal with it, having used toilet paper to stop the bleeding on her back. If she tried to get any bandages down stair she would have had to face her parents, ones who hated mutants and surely must have known she was one. It would explain the whippings and change of behavior from her own father, someone who had always been kind to her since she was born.
Gingerly she reached back, touching the base of the wings and whimpering just from a light pressure to them. Damn it was just painful! Through the whole thing she had had to muffle her cries, tears streaking down her face from dealing with it and not relieving it somehow. Just trying to spread them made her double over a few times when she had waited and she wasn't about to try again. But she would have to do something, she couldn't stay there. Whippings wouldn't fix this and she would surely be at risk of being killed this time if she didn't act.
Pausing mid-step Sandra turned her honey-amber colored eyes towards her window, seeing it would be the only escape route. She knew how to use her own body power to move from high to low places and vice versa, so it would be that bad from a two-story building. Besides a risk of spreading her wings and enduring pain would surely help. But what then? Most people in her neighborhood hated mutants too and she would be open to wandering eyes for even early in the morning. It was currently 5:30 am and her parents were normally up this early, and she was one to sleep in at this time on the weekends. Either way she was trapped with only two options.
One she could deal with her parents and risk losing her own life or two risk the chance of being seen and escaping such a fate. It was hard to decide and Sandra chewed on her bottom lip with indecision, the normally fiery, stubborn teen now fearing the sanctuary of her home. But she finally chose to risk being seen, rather then immediately face her parents. With a deep breathe she came quietly to the window, unlocking it and slowly but quietly lifting it up then removing the screen.
Voices down stairs made her freeze for a minute before she slowly slipped out, careful with her already aching wings and giving a quiet moan of pain from any movement. But once on the roof she gave a quick look around before letting herself slip down the roof on her butt. Coming to the end she pushed off with her feet, spreading her wings enough, despite how painful it was once more, to glide before rolling to finish the land with a soft thud. But she heard her mother ask what it was since the nearby window was also open, and seeing she had little time Sandra stood and took off down the street hearing a few dogs yelping and barking when they saw her. Several others also awake at this hour peered out to see and soon she was hearing angry voices yelling 'mutant!' behind her.
She had little time to escape now and she was sure a mob wouldn't be far behind.
