Mutant Power:
Formerly he was able to understand, speak and write words, words from every language ever has existed, also be able reading body language and lips.
Since his death, his perspective has been widened drastically. Everything is language, so he can talk to KI with binary codes and finded out, that everything is language, the architecture, structures of cities, codes, everything is information, even the information of plants, clounds...everything around us.
Power limits:
In fact there are no limits, but his gift is a mental one, so his brain also has limits.
With his new view of the world, it also can be very overwhelming and exhausting to read all informations around him cause he needs getting used to it. So he struggles looking at something like a plant for example in a normal way.
And if he overuses it, like hacking on mental way a firewall for example, it can be so exhausting, that he could pass out.
Personality:
As a teenager, Cypher used to be a normal maybe a bit of nerdy kid. Always being the weakest chain of the New mutants, he had troubles with his self confidence and always had been scared while dangerous missions, cause of his lack of offensive and defensive mutant powers, also he always proofed himself as very brave instead of running away.
He also could be moody and a bit of touchy, but just had been a normal teenager with no bad past, no extreme personality, just a boy who want to love and want to fit in the world, want friends.
A while he had problems to deal with it, beeing not normal, because of being thrown in the dangerous life of a young soldier as the New Mutants always were, even if it's always denied.
Now after his death and resurrection into a new life it is hard to handle it. There are traumatic memories and some vague memories as being e restless soul. So he is a bit more quiet, deep, still water, sometimes with lack of emotion, although he manages to get some of his old attitudes back, so there are moments of being the old Doug. But all he need is new orientation, a new place and old friends beeing his anchor dealing with that changed world. Also to find again the old joys of life.

Physique: Not the biggest with 5'9 and 150 lbs, also not the strongest person. But still with a nice sporty build body of a normal slim natural trained young guy. The interesting thing is, that his strange ressurection causes an appearence as grown young man at his biological age of 20, the five missing years, he laid in his grave, died at the age of 15.
History:
Douglas was born and raised as a normal child with loving parents and no worries. Very early he became a little prodig of computers, especially programming software.
While attending Highschool, he met Kitty Pryde while dancing lessons and both quickly became friends because of their common interest: computers. Also he has hidden feelings for her.
Kitty never told him who she really was and he never knew he had been a mutant, because Xavier thought, with his powers, he could live a normal life. Although he got an offer from Emma Frost, attending her school in Boston
But everything changed, after a strange visitor from outer space arrived. And with lack of a proper translator, Sam arrived at Dougs home in the deep night and told him, that i is a mutant and they need his help.
Also, he almost freaked out and still shocked, he agreed and so he met his Soulmate Warlock, who also became a member of the New mutants like Doug himself.
But life became harder, because being a mutant is also linked with many dangers. So everybody of his New Friends got trained and beeing prepared for combat. Also the magical affinity getting in Danger and many adventures.
After Xavier left and Magneto took over the school, he had been excluded from the training, because his powers are just mental, what made him very angry and feeling useless, so he started doubting about himself and his powers.
However, he often proofed to be a hero. For example the rescue of Elisabeth Braddock from Mojoworld, where he did a fusion with Warlock, so with a different view, he was able to free Psylocke from Mojos technology, what captured her.
But there had been also a mean side of him. Being the biggest rivals, the Hellions, the pupils of Emma Frost, who also tried to pull the New mutants on her side, and the New Mutants Apppeared at a same party, where Doug hurts Tarot's feelings, who was interested in him and sent her off. Then he flirtetd with Roulette and impressed her by winning a pokercontest.
Finally his friends found him massivly drunk in the bed with Roulette and other girls, a to hit rock bottom for him. Anyway he thought, Roulette used her powers to let him win and lied at him, what made him angry, so she slaps her and ruined everything
But soon his luck changed and he started a romance with Wolfsbane, the youngest member of the New Mutants, who also struggles with her selfconfidence, being a beast.
The beginning of the end was a creature namend Birdbrain, they rescued and tried to teach him a normal life. First doug becam very jealous because of Rahnes affections to the bird and humanlike Monster.. But soon, both were united together taking care of the creature and learned, that his Birthplace is in danger.
To rescue Birdbrains friends, the New Mutants secretly travelled to Paradise Island, were they got captured, but managed to escape.
Unfortunatly their enemy took heavy ordnance and Doug got shot dead, while sacrivicing himself for Rahne.
His last words were: „Don't worry Rahne, I never do it again“ then he passed away with blood in his mouth. Sadly Rahne had never heard them...
But being dead doesn't give him peace, so his spirit still haunted at the graveyard, mourning about his death but was able to say goodby to Rahne on his own way.
The light brought gently him back, leaving him clueless and confused, but he is still the same..and now, he wanted to come back to his old home....

„Sylvain stood outside on the street and took a deep breath of the city smell. the smell of a giant metropolis. In contrast to Chicago, his origin, the capital of Ireland seemed to be a village.
The Hotel he chose, was definetly not a Hilton. A glutton of filial chain, which he wanted to boycott, like every other huge concern, which ate und infiltrate everything on the globe to get absolute power. So the stood there as a stranger to another country, which had the same language like the green Island, but different ways of life. Everything was so bustling, the people..humans so closed. But nothing horrific, because he had travelled much in his existence as Kindred. A look at his watch, it was early evening and he had hoped to visit some museums of Chicago. But he must hurry, because not much time left until closing. Nevermind, he thought, so new to a domain, he had to find the Principal to get introduced. Maybe already to become citizen and not as guest for some days. Here in Chicago, he didn´t know any Kindred and the only left Nosferatu in Dublin after an attack of the Sabbat couldn´t give any important information. So he played "Hans im Glück" and went out, always armed with his Minolta-cam and notebook. „
